For this mid-week highlight I chose the chart of PURE Bioscience (OTCBB: PURE). Late last year and going all the way into this past Spring, PURE was non-trending, as can be evident by the swings above and below the 200-day moving average (the red line in the chart above). However, all that changed this past August, when PURE hit a low of 2.72 at the 200-day moving average and turned back up sharply. PURE has since rallied to a high of 8.59 in late October.

As usual, the story with stocks in strong up-trends such as this one, is the up-trend is much more likely to continue than to reverse. With that said, traders and investors MUST pick their entry point carefully. PURE has been correcting very mildly against the upt-rend, so a buying opportunity may arise here soon. Keep PURE on your radar screen because its chart looks very strong right now.
